The Monarch Conglomerate is, for lack of a better term, a competitor to the wider galaxy. A corporate oligarchy that keeps a tight grip on its investment worlds, fielding alternative methods of FTL travel and communication, much of its structure is designed for consumers and its employees

Obsidian, a subsidiary of Monarch, is not so outwardly friendly. A corporation built around military might and crushing any uprisings they need to, these fixers will stoop to any level they need to, crossing any and every line they must.
